Captive In Iran
$18.99Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh knew they were putting their lives on the line. Islamic laws in Iran forbade them from sharing their Christian beliefs, but in three years, they’d covertly put New Testaments into the hands of twenty thousand of their countrymen and started two secret house churches.
In 2009, they were finally arrested and held in the notorious Evin Prison in Tehran, a place where inmates are routinely tortured and executions are commonplace. In the face of ruthless interrogations, persecution, and a death sentence, Maryam and Marziyeh chose to take the radical-and dangerous-step of sharing their faith inside the very walls of the government stronghold that was meant to silence them. In Captive in Iran, two courageous Iranian women recount how God used their 259 days in Evin Prison to shine His light into one of the world’s darkest places, giving hope to those who had lost everything and showing love to those in despair.

Ministering To Gay Teenagers (Revised)
$8.99When it comes to ministering to gays and lesbians, far too many churches have chosen silence over service, or a reactive stance over proactive involvement. But congregations must abandon their comfort zone and minister to a group of people who need to experience the love of Jesus in powerful, tangible ways.
With truths drawn from his own personal experiences, youth pastor Shawn Harrison seeks to equip youth workers, parents, and churches in ministering to gay teenagers, their families, and the gay community at-large. The church must not compromise truth, he says, but it should not withhold grace either. How gay students first encounter God-personally and communally-and how Christians react to them can determine subsequent steps in their faith journey.
Ministering to Gay Teenagers is filled with wisdom and practical advice on how to respond when a student comes out and how to help the teenager’s family through that journey, too. This book will equip leaders and parents with solid answers to the questions families ask. And it will challenge youth workers and churches to consider how to practically serve and minister to a group of people who seek deep authenticity in love, character, truth, and presence.
Ministering to Gay Teenagers was originally published in November 2012. This edition is revamped with approximately 80% new material incorporating wisdom the author has since learned, in addition to valuable feedback received from his youth ministry peers.

AMG Concise Survey Of The Bible
$24.99This edition of G. Campbell Morgan’s work has been compiled from the three volumes published in the early 1900s as The Messages of the Books of the Bible. We at AMG Publishers have made several changes as we have combined these into one volume. This volume contains Morgan’s content for both the Old and New Testaments whereas in the previous publications, the Old Testament was split into two volumes, and the New Testament made the third volume. We also have updated the spelling in accordance with how our language has changed over the years. However, we have not updated the points of current history mentioned by Morgan; readers should note that they are from the turn of the century. Morgan strives to lay out in simple form what he sees to be the message of each book of the Bible, or in some cases, the message of more than one book combined. The one exception to this is the book of Lamentations for which Morgan did not include a chapter. At the beginning of each chapter, he outlines the primary message in the form of a chart, which he follows as he writes the chapter, expounding on his basic points. For the Old Testament, he breaks each book down into “The Permanent Value(s)” and “The Living Message.” His layout for the books of the New Testament contains “The Essential Message” and “The Application.” The charts are a kind of overview for what the reader shall explore in the chapters.

AMG Concise Bible Characters
$29.99In AMG’s Concise Bible Characters, Whyte uses his storytelling skills to interact with the greatest content of all time, the Holy Bible. What results is a collection of more than 150 stories on the characters of the Bible. Whyte’s writings, originally published in seven volumes, continue to inspire preachers, Sunday school teachers, and lay people more than 160 years after they were published. Readers of these Bible character stories will feel like they are right there while things are happening. Whyte uses these stories to challenge each of us to consider our own character, to challenge us to be better than we have been, to reach for something beyond what we think we can attain. He challenges us to keep striving when life is tough, but more than that, he reveals how the characters of the Bible were able to do these things, and how we can accomplish them in our own lives. In producing Concise Bible Characters, we at AMG Publishers have made some minor changes to the original work to help make its content more clear to modern readers: We have updated some archaic terms, and we have updated spelling in accordance with how our language has changed over the years; in some cases, unusual forms of punctuation have been simplified to eliminate confusion. Apart from these minor modifications, however, we have remained true to Whyte’s original work in every way. Additionally, readers should note that the points of current history mentioned by Whyte are from the nineteenth century.

Help And Hope For The Single Parent
$7.99If you’ve ever wished that you could hold hands with someone other than your child, this book is for you. And if you miss the season of life when you had more grown-up conversations than discussions about Dora the Explorer, this book is for you.
Nearly half of all children born in America are born into single parent homes. Dr. Evans tells of a conversation he had with one of these children: My heart was broken recently when the son of one of the single parents in our church looked up at me and said, “Pastor, why won’t God give me a dad? Every night I ask God to give me a dad, but He won’t give me one.”
Single parents have the toughest job in the world because the obstacles can be overwhelming. You’ve got to work, clean, take care of the kids, help with homework, pay the bills, fix the car, shop for groceries, cook, prepare your income taxes, etc. And though single parents are always around another person, this season can be quite lonely. Additionally, there is often guilt that can creep in and make you feel like you are the worst parent in the world. Though being a single parent is tough, it is also a hopeful season.
In Help and Hope for Single Parents, Dr. Evans gives an encouraging reminder – You are not alone! And your child has the most amazing Parent in the Lord. God can and will help you take care of your children. There is Help & Hope for Single Parents.

Prone To Love
$15.99Stop trying to become who you are already are!
If you have been around Christian circles long enough, you have heard the phrase, “child of God.” As believers, we use language like this all the time describing our relationship with the Father-but do we really know what it means?
What would happen if we actually lived out the relationship and reality we talked, preached, and sang about? Easy. We would change the world.
The roadblock preventing us from stepping into our identities as sons and daughters of God is not lack of discipline, resources, or creative ideas. We have all of this…
What’s missing? To discover who you are, first, you must know Who the Father is and what He’s like.
